Oh wow... Talk abt being overworked and underpaid... Exams just ended on 2 Nov and tmr is my first day of attachment at AMK Hospital! *plays sad song* "Yesterday... All my troubles seem so far away..."
GIMME MY HOLIDAYS MAN!!! Nursing is the only course in poly tt only has 4 weeks (instead of 2-3 mths) break per sem. No wonder nurses r overworked and underpaid. Just gotta follow the trend tt started since their student days... ARGH!!
Hey, dun blame me for telling pple not to join nursing. Nobel as our career is, the pay and working hours r shit. Love the work, hate the pay and hours.

come on. dun bitch abt it when u get to practice ur skills b4 u formally go to work. they are not to be taken for granted. Jobs that have bad pay and shitty hours are driven by ppl who have passion for the job - which makes them excel in what they are doing. too bad tat nursing which takes care of ppl is not recognised in terms of monetary terms. holidays are the privilge of a student but it also depends on how u want to see it. so dun spread ur ill perspective to other ppl - give ur objective comment instead.

Hi anonymous: Gladys didn't really say anything wrong, right? You also agree that the pay is bad. She also didn't say that she doesn't like the job or what. She said she love the job, doesn't like the pay. You also said that nursing is not recognised in monetary terms. So what's wrong there?
And what's wrong with complaining about the lack of holidays? It IS a fact that nursing students get less holidays than others. So isn't complaining about the lack of holidays an objective view?
Her not actively promoting nursing as a career to others and complaining about the pay, hours and the lack of holidays is not an ill perspective that she's spreading to others. YOU should be the one who needs to be more objective in viewing others' comments.
