Results

Although I was hoping for better grades, I'm quite satisfied with my current results. Can't really ask for too much right? I'm just quite happy that I'm still on track for 1st class honours, and that my results actually pulled my CAP up. It's quite funny how I was expecting an A- or lower grade for my CS4266 and A- or BETTER grade for my CS4260, but it turned out that I got A for CS4266 and only a B+ for CS4260.

CAP: 4.55

The CAP here is my cumulative CAP. The CAP I got for this semester alone is actually 4.6. Quite interesting how my results for this sem is EXACTLY the same as my results for last sem. I mean, not just the CAP, but the breakdown of the grades as well. And that the results for my 1st two sems are EXACTLY the same. I achieved 4.5 for my 1st two sems, went on exchange for my 3rd sem, and then 4.6 for the previous two sems. Can I hope for continually improving CAP then? Haha. How I wish.

BUSY!!!

I know I was supposed to update the blog once I'm back from reservist, but unfortunately, I've been "drafted" into DBS. My Managing Director called me and asked me to work for 2 weeks temp job in the department as they had some urgent work to do. So I'm now working in DBS. Sigh. No time at all! Right after my work in DBS, it's back to school for me. I can't believe how hectic my life is. Oh well... Shouldn't really turn my MD down when she called me personally right? And also need to save up the money for marriage.

Soft Toys from David

Just tot I'll show off the soft toys tt David gave me over the years.

Here's medium sized Tigger and Piglet, currently lodging in David's house. They get to smell David's nasty feet every night!! EEW!

(Note: the giant Tigger and Piglet are 62cm tall each)

The loot count: Tigger x4, Piglet x3, Pooh x1, Eeyore x1, Teddy bears x3, Lion cub x1, Puppy x3, Cushion x2, Flower x1, Owl x1 (Total: 20)

Missing from the pics (but included in count): A pair of puppy keychains (on my pencil case) and an owl which I think he gave me but i can't find.

I was feeling bored, so tried my hand at creating Yahoo! avatars for both myself and David. Haha. Doesn't exactly look like us, but this is the closest i managed to get with the limited features. At least the avatar r wearing clothes tt both of us will wear and the skin colour is correct. Haha.

Merry Xmas!!

Merry Xmas!! Yet another year is passing... Oh shit i'm feeling so old!

Anyway, this is the 4th Xmas tt David and I am spending together. But this is the saddest of all my Xmas...

On 24th, we went to Jurong Point Zone-X to see what we can exchange for with the 800+ tickets tt we've collected over the years. We saw this really REALLY cute piglet wearing a tigger costume for 500 tickets. To me, it was like a dream come true! It's the most most most most perfect thing to exchange for.

So, we went back and counted out 500 tickets, and went back down today to change for my little tigger-let. And to my HORROR, IT WAS GONE!!!!! ARGH!!!!! My poor little tigger-let... I was so upset tt i cried.

But David was sooo sweet. He said tt he'll exchange it for me another time when it's available again. And he's getting me 2 very cute little figurines (brand new) off Yahoo Auctions!! One is a figurine of tigger wearing a piglet costume and the other is a piglet wearing a tigger costume! Hehe!! I'm so spoilt! =P

Watch Shopping

Went with Chak Yuen today to buy a watch for his gf as Xmas present. Was deciding between these 2 watches.

In the end he chose the orange one.

So anyway, along the way, we saw some really INTERESTING watches. In City Chain. Not at those pasarmalam stalls, but actually in City Chain! By this brand called Everlast...

Rotting Away

Exams' over, holidays' started, but nothing's happened. Ok, ALMOST nothing is happening. Haha.

David's at reservist now, so i'm basically rotting at home, knitting my cardigan, folding stars, surfing net and occasionally going out to hang wif my frens. So far, David and I still haven't had the time to spend some "us" time cos so many things going on before he left for reservist! =(

Looking forward to x'mas, cos we'll b going to Malaysia! Can't spend too much tho, gotta save $$ for our wedding...

1 more day!!!

In about 24 hrs from now, I'll finally be done with my 3rd year 1st sem. But now, I'm just drained from studying in JE library. I'm using the new Wireless@SG thingy that provides free wireless access to most public places. It's so damn slow. The supposed speed is 512kbps, but it feels more like 56kbps. Maybe I've just been using high speed broadband for too long.

It's amazing how people can just leave their stuff unattended in the library. I sat at this table where there's a pencil case, a calculator, and a textbook left unattended. Been sitting here for the last 1 hour, and still no one came. Strange people.

I actually have quite a lot of photos to post, but had been unable to do so thanks to my exams. I should really post those photos next week after I'm freed from my exams and before I go back to serve the nation from 11th to 22nd Dec.
