What's up with the Rain fans?

OK. I know I'm probably going to offend some Rain fans (if there are any who's reading this in the first place). But I'm really just so pissed off with the kind of behaviour that the fans displayed (from what I saw in the news). What is he? He's just a singer. He's not like some God or what. I think even if Jesus were to appear, the people wouldn't go so crazy.

And honestly, I seriously suspect that most of the fans don't even understand Korean. How are they supposed to appreciate his songs?
